I just found out about crossfit four days ago and i'm interested. Are there other Sundays with open gyms? Is that only for members? I live an hour away and would love to attend an introduction class but I get out of work at 5:30 most wed and saturdays.

EC, Sam, Did either of you or anyone else do today's main site 'Games'WOD? I believe you'd both be at the top part of the women's results.
The men's top results seemed real low.

i tried the 5 rnds/5-185# deadlift/10 burpees yesterday and i took 8.10. pretty slow compared to other the top chicks out there. in my defense, i was at 17 hours for fasting.... so i think i could make up a little time being a little less hungry. however, not sure how much below 7...
some of the men's results are .... just, unbelievably fast!
did a wod i called 34 b/c that's how old i be now:
3x400 m run
34 pullups
34 situps w/25 lb db overhead
34 hip extensions
34 bear complexes w/75 lb
34 kb swings
34 double unders
34 pushups
3x400 m run
finished in 47ish minutes. i wish i were 22 instead.
raf was cashing checks and breaking necks running the burpee workout.
Maybe next year EC ?

i dont know monica.... competition is pretty fierce. id need to train a lot harder ... esp in crossfit-esque wods.
