Here at CrossFit Boston, we believe that Olympic Weightlifting is the best way to develop speed and strength for sport.  Explosive power, the natural byproduct of this type of training, is what separates great athletes from merely competent ones.

We are so ardent in this belief that we've become a recognized USA Weightlifting Club, one of only a handful in the entire Northeast.  The objective of the club is to develop athletes who wish to compete in the two classic lifts, the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk.

We require all athletes to have a current USAW membership and to compete in a minimum of two events annually. 

With two certified USA Weightlifting Club Coaches on staff, we have the expertise to teach you to perform the Clean & Jerk and the Snatch safely and correctly.

CrossFit Boston offers instruction in Olympic Weightlifting once a week in a class setting: Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.  Instructors are also available for individual instruction if you'd prefer. 

If you're serious about your sport, you need to be weightlifting.   Every athlete can benefit, whether your game of choice is football, wrestling, crew, track and field, soccer, baseball, or mixed martial arts.  If you want to be the best, this is your training program.
